Voice artist and sales specialist, Lahore
A voice your audience actually listens to.
Adverts, audiobooks, radio and character voices in five languages. And when the script is finished, I am the one on the phone who closes.
- British and American English, Urdu, Pashto, Punjabi
- UK and US hours
- Same day reply
Most voice artists cannot sell. Most salespeople do not sound good. I do both, and each one makes the other better.
About
Who is on the other end of the line.
I am Sarea Sohail, a voice artist and sales specialist in Lahore. For two years I have done two jobs most people keep apart: reading scripts in a booth, and talking to strangers on the phone until they become customers.
Send me a script and I send back a read that sounds like somebody means it. Put me on the phone and I do the talking your team does not have time for: enquiries, follow ups, cold calls and the close.
Why both matter: when I record an advert I know what it is meant to make somebody do, because I have spent two years on the phone doing exactly that. And when I am on a call, I know how a sentence has to sound before the words can land.

Voice
Send a script. Get back a read that sounds like somebody means it.
-
01
Voice over and narration
Adverts, social video, YouTube, online courses and documentaries. Warm, clear, and pointed at one listener rather than a crowd.
-
02
Character voices and audiobooks
Stories, animation, games and dubbing, with American, Pakistani and English characters who stay the same person from the first chapter to the last.
-
03
Radio voice and commercials
Energetic reads for radio adverts, promos and brand campaigns, tuned to the hour they air and the person making toast at the other end.
The booth taught me how a sentence has to sound. The phone taught me what it is meant to make somebody do.
Sales
Put me on the phone. I do the talking your team does not have time for.
-
04
Business enquiries and follow ups
B2B customer dealing: enquiries answered, follow ups actually made, and relationships kept warm between orders.
-
05
Cold calling and lead generation
Introducing your business to strangers, qualifying who is worth your time, and opening doors that email alone does not.
-
06
Closing
B2C sales closing: understanding what the customer needs, handling the objection without rushing, and the pause before the yes.
Voice and sales
Two rooms. One skill.
In the booth
- A radio spot at seven in the morning is talking to someone making toast. The read changes with the hour.
- An advert has to be liked. An audiobook has to be lived with, so the voice stays the same person from the first chapter to the last.
- Scripts arrive full of "we" and almost empty of "you". I read them to the one person listening.
On the phone
- Most cold calls die before the product is mentioned. Not the offer, the sound of the opening.
- "Not interested" usually means "not right now". One short question, then a human pause.
- Nobody buys from a voice in a hurry. The pause before the close is not dead air. It is where the other person decides.
Languages
Five languages, one voice. Hire five voices and you get five brands. One voice across the five keeps the person the same, in Lahore and in Leeds.
How it works
Three steps. No forms.
For a recording
-
1
Send the script
With the deadline and a reference for tone if you have one. No script yet? Describe the job and I will say what I need.
-
2
I record
In a treated home studio, in the accent and the energy the listener needs. Slower for the kitchen at seven, faster for the drive home.
-
3
You publish
Broadcast quality audio, ready to go. Price on request, because a thirty second advert and a six hour audiobook are not the same job.
For calls
-
1
Tell me the customer
Who they are, what a good outcome looks like, and which language they pick up the phone in.
-
2
I tell you straight
Whether I am the right fit for the job. If I am not, you hear that too, before anyone spends money.
-
3
I make the calls
In your customers' hours and their language. Enquiries answered, leads qualified, and the ones who are nearly there, closed.
The booth
A treated room at the end of the hallway.
Foam on the walls, a microphone on a boom arm, the script on a screen. Every read is recorded here and delivered as broadcast quality audio, ready to publish.
The booth does not care what time it is in London or New York. When your morning starts, I am usually already at the desk.
Proof
What clients say.
Rated on Upwork for quick responsiveness, language fluency and level of cooperation.
“Sarea brought to life the main girl in my story! She makes a great voice actress.”
Samples
Hear it before you book it.
The demo reel is being mastered. Until it is up, the fastest way to hear me is a custom read: send a short script and I send back a read the same day, in the accent you need.
Ask for a custom readQuestions
Before you message.
What do you need from me to start?
The script, the deadline and, if you have one, a reference for the tone. No script yet? Describe the job and I will say what I need.
How fast do you reply?
The same day. I keep UK and US hours from Lahore, so whichever side of the Atlantic you are on, we overlap for most of your working day.
Which accents and languages?
British English and American English, plus Urdu, Pashto and Punjabi. Character voices in American, Pakistani and English.
What does it cost?
Price on request, per project. A thirty second advert and a six hour audiobook are not the same job, so I quote once I have seen the script or heard about the calls.
Can I hear you before I book?
Yes. Send a short script and I send back a custom read the same day. The demo reel is being mastered and will sit in the Samples section above.
Do you do the calls as well as the voice?
Yes, that is the point. Business enquiries, follow ups, cold calling and closing, in any of my five languages, in your customers' hours.
Where do we work together?
Here, on WhatsApp or by email, or through Upwork and Fiverr if you prefer a platform in between.
On LinkedIn
One post a day about voice and sales.
Short notes from the booth and the phone, published on my LinkedIn profile every day. Three recent ones, each opens on LinkedIn:
- Nobody buys from a voice in a hurryThe last minute of a sales call is where most of them are lost. The prospect is close, the seller speeds up, and the person on the line hears pressure. Read on LinkedIn
- A cold call dies in the opening, not the pitchNot because of the offer. Because of the sound of the opening. Too fast and they hear a script, too bright and they hear a sales floor. Read on LinkedIn
- What motivates you? Money.Client: What makes you want to take on our cold calling? Me: Money. Mine first, then yours, which is where mine comes from. Read on LinkedIn
